now that the weather has peaked its warm little sweaty  head into missoula, i want it back. springbreak was AMAZING...but ended with a chilly 40 degree rainy weekend. so i have been dreaming of summer and all that goes along with it...camping, farmers markets, beers and bands on the hip strip and dips in the river. and i guess there is a sense of newness ..and freshness that i crave. here are some of my items that i am lusting over...what are your summer must haves this year?

this skirt

my favorite necklace in the whole wide world broke the other day, i nearly shed a tear. i tried to gorilla  glue the crystal back in, dont EVER do this. it swelled and leaked all over, and yet the crystal was in there so darn tight it wouldnt budge. i thought it would be no problem to find a replacement, but its proven harder than i thought. this one looks a lot like it though...definetly need a new one, i feel naked without it.

ahhh summer will be here soon, and then i will be complaining about having no ac right?

sunshine on my shoulders...

it was a nice 60 degrees yesterday....we took full advantage of it and headed to a great park near our home. the older boys hit some golf balls around, Landon and I played at the park. It felt SO good to be outside with some sunny warm weather finally. it is amazing what that does for my spirits. sometimes all you need is the sunshine on your shoulders to get by.
here in missoula there are good radio stations being a college town, but there is one that is so RAD, its called the trail and they play just the right mix of folk, classic rock and indie artists. I am not usually a huge fan of current music, but this song keeps playing and it just moves me somehow. check it out...hope everyone is enjoying the week! spring break next week for us, and i could use it!!

thrifting adventures

goodwill did me good this week. its really so hit or miss lately, but when i saw that santana record i about bowled over some poor old lady  kindly asked an old lady to move to grab it.i  recently bought a record player and it has been fun collecting old vinyl. sometimes music is just plain good for the soul. it has really lifted my spirits having it. my dad had one when i was a kid and had the best collection. he used to play them in the basement and just stand there with his beer and listen.... and sort of reminice of his past days. I find myself seeking out those same albums now, brings back good memories from my youth, a time that seems farther and farther away these days. ahh to be young again right!

the blanket is an exact match for the one jessica from houseofhabit recently thrfited, crazy. its a nice soft edition for $1.99! hope everyone is having a great weekend. any good thrifting scores for you??

lately......

 

things have been, simply, crazy here lately. as a full time student and recently single mother of three little boys, it has taken some real soul searching lately to get mysef into a fresh mood. but i am slowely getting there. i had gotton away from blogging, and decided this is just what i need! we have been staying busy with crafts, walks, and movies. i have gotton back into making stuff for my etsy shop, wickermoon. more items will be added next week so be sure to take a look! hope everyone is having a wonderful first day of spring! here in montana, spring seems pretty far off, but when the sun comes out i feel like nothing can get me down. heres to a fresh start for spring and blogging...
